where did the week go?

Dialysis this week all smooth, no problems.  Weather a little colder than normal for this time of year, but on the other hand lots of sunny days if  cold enough for a toque and gloves.  Back to rereading some old Len Deighton spy novels, great, great stuff.  Picked up my copies of the Mariposa Writers’ Group anthology, A Canvas of Words, which has some of my poems in it.   Arranged a reading and book sign and sale at the Huronia Museum for the anthology on November 24th and was interviewed about that for the local newspaper.

Attended the third meeting of a new club in Midland devoted to computers and technology.

Had to spend $500 to fix some things on my old Impala.  Great car but in its golden years and every maintenance session involved plenty of gold.  Still it only has just over 150K on it and I suspect I will keep it as my ride for another two years.   Next step is an oil change and getting the  snow tires swapped for the summer tires.  It is a comfortable ride, huge trunk which has come in handy and decent fuel consumption. It has been one of my better car selections.
