dog days

while I was at dialysis this morning, my sister took Grace for a walk. Upon returning to the house, as she stood on the back deck stairs Grace pulled and she fell on the stone tile pathway.  Her right wrist is broken and in a cast. It was an odd break not the normal wrist break.  Friday morning at 10 am the orthopedic surgeon will assess it and see if she needs surgery.  A next door neighbour was enormously helpful through  the day, taking my sister to the hospital.  I have had to keep Grace away form my sister, to make sure she does not jump up and tap the broken wrist inside the cast.

  1. Wow, sorry to hear that. Hope she recovers quickly and completely. Broken bones and bandaged hands are no fun! I should know. It can be a slow process, so I pray it heals quickly.
