eye tests

a couple of eye tests and some long waits in the waiting room in Toronto today at the St. Michael’s Health Centre. Queen Street East is a construction hell hole as is part of Church St.  My eyes are in better shape than last tested and need no immediate treatment with medication or laser surgery, however, they are in a condition where I might experience a sudden deterioration, so a retest in November is scheduled.  I had been back in TO in May but felt no great pang of desire to be living there again, but today for some reason the hurley burley got to me and I confess I miss it.  Country life is awfully quiet.

Tomorrow in the afternoon we go over to pick up Grace the wonder pup. We are all prepared and very anxious to bring her home.  The cats have been warned.
