lone firefly

with one comment

Late last night I was walking mr. dog and noticed a lone firefly drifting along near the corner of our road. In the past years I have seen fireflies en masse for a brief time in the summer time. It seemed a little sad to just see one, blinking his light, hoping for a mate. Love isn't easy.
